Version 2022.1 (Build 600)
Release Notes (Release Date: 2022-05-09)
New Features & Enhancements
General
- We've made performance improvements so that SwifTest is significantly faster, especially when you have multiple people signed in simultaneously.
- All the DWS products (Hub, SwifTest, Scheduler Agent, Scheduler Server, LoadTest, etc) have switched to a new unified sign-in experience. This way of signing in satisfies modern security requirements and opens the door for new ways of signing in in future, including Multi-factor authentication, Single Sign On, SAML, and others.
New Actions
General
- There's a new "Run Orchestration (JSON)" action, allowing you to execute EnterpriseOne Orchestrations requiring any number of input parameters and returning any number of output rows, including arrays and multi-level records. This also allows you to execute orchestrations with assertions.
- A new action called "Regex String" allows you to extract values from runtime datastore items via regular expression patterns.
- The "Extract from JSON" action allows you to extract a specific value out of a JSON string, given a path.
Corrections
General
- When executing a queue with "Suppress unnecessary log in and log out actions" checked, the log in and log out actions had no icons in the list. This was a visual error only, and did not affect functionality.
- On environments where the Windows Credential Manager is enabled, SwifTest used to look for the exact case when finding usernames in the Credential Manager, even though in E1 and CloudApps, usernames are not case sensitive.
- The Compare action used to incorrectly return False when checking whether any numeric values was not equal to "Literal - EMPTY".
- When running a test queue containing multiple tests on a schedule, you would see multiple browser windows popping up on the schedule machine. This has been fixed, so you should now only see one.
JDE EnterpriseOne
- After upgrading to Tools Release 9.2.5.5, some existing Select E1 page item actions would fail, due to changing internal IDs.
Oracle Cloud Applications
- The Click grid row value action wasn't working properly when the value you were trying to click contained a checkbox.
- The Click form control action sometimes didn't work when clicking certain buttons. This was due to differences in the way different areas in Cloud Applications rendered some buttons.
- Similarly, the above action would sometimes fail to click checkboxes located inside drop-down controls.
- The Set form control value action used to fail to set the value of certain Cloud Applications "Date" type fields.
- The log out action would sometimes fail when executed from within certain applications.
- On newer versions of the Cloud Applications UI, the Log in action would always fail, due to a change of the internal ID of the sign in button. The action now works on both newer and older versions of the Cloud Applications interface.
- When using Set form control value to enter numbers, and including digit grouping separators in your input, it would fail if the Cloud Applications environment was configured to use a different digit grouping character.
- When a test script added multiple rows to a Cloud Applications grid, and then later tried to click one, it would sometimes fail to find the correct row.
- The Set form combobox value wasn't working on certain comboboxes, notably ones added in recent versions of Cloud Applications.
