Version 2021.3 (Build 66)
Release Notes (Release Date: 2021-11-15)
New Features & Enhancements
General
-
We've changed the way version numbers are displayed in the application and release notes, to make it clearer that build numbers are
not necessarily sequential.
Oracle Cloud Applications
- Enhanced compatibility with Cloud Applications HCM module (dropdown and text area controls).
Corrections
General
- If an action failed during the validation stage, before it actually began executing, Swiftest would report it as failed, but it wouldn't tell you the reason. This has been fixed.
- Fixed an issue in the "Load Row From Repo" action, where if the first column in the selected repo had been deleted, you would still see its value in the "Select Row" dropdown.
Oracle Cloud Applications
- If you tried to create an action that clicked the "Setup and Maintenance" hyperlink of the Cloud Applications navigation menu, that action would fail under certain circumstances. This has been fixed.
EnterpriseOne
- You can now use the Click Form Control action to toggle group boxes and vertical tabs.
Version 2021.3 (Build 4)
Release Notes (Release Date: 2021-11-02)
New Features & Enhancements
General
- On most actions, there's a new action setting called "On Failure", which will allow you to specify that, should the action fail when executing the test, the test will continue to the next action anyway.
- Non-browser actions (manipulating runtime datastore items, executing orchestrations, etc) now run much faster than before, due to performance improvements in the way those actions are handled.
- The performance of the Test Execution screen has been improved, so that the UI updates quicker and the user is updated more frequently.
Open API
- JSON output returned from the Open API is now formatted to be more human-readable.
EnterpriseOne
- The Logout action now works even if you're using an external identity provider to control access to your EnterpriseOne environment.
Corrections
General
- Various security vulnerabilities have been found and fixed.
- When signing out of the application while a test was executing, the test would previously continue executing, but no results would be saved. Now the test is correctly aborted.
- Fixed a regression in 2021.2.1 that resulted in users being unable to edit the conditions of existing "If", "While", and "Repeat" group actions.
- Fixed several issues relating to dragging to reposition actions in a test, especially when moving actions between groups.
- When adding an action to a test, and selecting from a dynamic list of values, the options in that list would sometimes be duplicated if the user clicked away from that action and back on the action again. This has been fixed.
- Fixed an issue preventing users who aren't Swiftest Administrators from changing the "Keep Browser Open When Test Fails" setting in the Options dialog.
- When an action failed to validate, before it began executing, it would show as Failed in Swiftest, but no error message would be displayed. This has been fixed.
EnterpriseOne
- It was sometimes necessary to add a Pause action in order to make the Select E1 Page action work correctly. This has been fixed.
- Added the ability for users to specify the Role used to login to the Orchestration server, under the Options dialog.
Oracle Cloud Applications
- Actions to interact with checkbox controls in CloudApps applications would sometimes fail due to changing internal HTML IDs. This has been fixed.
- The action to set the value of an HCM dropbox didn't always work because the dropdown wouldn't be populated under certain circumstances. This has been fixed.
