Corrections

• When clients have customized E1 sign in screens, only the standard "Sign In" button will be clicked by the "Log in" actions.
• Errors generated by the "bandwidth monitor" and "screen shot upload progress" fly outs have been resolved.
• When executing a single group action, the children actions are now displayed in the execution screen.
• Fix Firefox browser errors when interacting with E1 modal dialog boxes.

Corrections

• Various stability and performance improvements, which should reduce the instances of application slowdown when it's been open for extended periods of time.
• When viewing the Execution History of a test, the date/time in the grid now correctly matches the date/time in the tree.
• On the Actions list when clicking on a test, the selecting of Group action children is now consistent with the rest of the system (CTRL+Click to select multiple unconnected rows, SHIFT+Click for connected/adjacent rows).
• When copying a large Project, Scenario, Test, or Repository Datastore, and the sever times out, the user now sees a "friendly" message advising them to refresh the list and check again in a few minutes.
• When the value of a runtime datastore item contains the underscore character, the underscore is now correctly displayed.
• Sometimes, when an informational dialog box or popup was on screen, and you used ALT+TAB to switch out of the Swiftest Application, the application would become unusable when you switched back. This has been fixed.
• If the user left the Swiftest application signed in for extended periods of time (e.g. overnight), they would encounter various errors when they tried to use it again. This has been replaced with a "friendly" message informing them their session has expired, and automatically sending them to the sign-in screen to re-enter their credentials.
• After editing a Repository Datastore, the screen no longer reverts to the top of the list, causing you to lose context.

New Actions

• The Compare action has been rewritten, so you can use the same interface and logic as in the If and While Group actions.
• The old Repeater action has been retired and replaced with the Repeat type of Group action. Existing tests containing Repeater actions will continue to run as expected, but you will not be able to create new tests using that action.
• A new "String Concatenation" action has been added, to take the values of two items, concatenate them together, and store the result in a third runtime datastore item.
• A new "Sub-String" action has been added, to extract a portion of a particular item (by starting position and length) and store the result in a third runtime datastore item.
• A new "Comment" action allows you to record and display information (either statically, or from the runtime datastore), for reporting and debugging purposes.

New Features & Enhancements

• When executing Group actions, you will no longer see the "Executing Repeated Actions" screen, as this functionality has now been absorbed into the single "Executing" screen.
• Executing tests with nested Group actions (Groups inside other Groups) is now supported.
• The Test Queue Execution screen has been reworked to support groups, and also the overall look-and-feel has been updated and modernised.
• Added a Tools -> Options menu item to display an option to always start the browser maximised when executing tests (new options will be added over time).
• The repository datastore Edit Data screen has been reworked, its look-and-feel modernised, and various issues around copying and pasting from Excel have been resolved.
• The Repository Datastores screen has been completely redesigned, with a tree view and a list view, to make it more modern and easier to navigate.
• It's now possible to Copy entire Repository Datastores.
• You can now right-click a Repository Datastore to Create a new one, or to Edit the structure or data of an existing one, or to Delete an existing one.
• Wherever Runtime Datastore items are displayed, they are now always sorted by Source, then Name.
• You can now right-click an item in the main Tests tree to refresh only that particular item's children.
• You can now use the INS and DEL keys on your keyboard to create and delete Metadata Columns.
• All How-to guides have been updated and refreshed with the latest screenshots and instructions, and guides have been added for some new functionality.
